OUR MISSION
Our mission is to present free symphony concerts in Portland area parks for the benefit of the general public, especially children.​
Our musicians are members of American Federation of Musicians – and thanks to Union Local 99, these musicians have rights! Each Portland Festival Symphony performance supports a living wage, access to healthcare and pension contributions for our wonderful, professional musicians. Supporting the Portland Festival Symphony means supporting musicianship as a livelihood.
