He was a Conducting Fellow with the Eugene Symphony for the 2018-2019 season and has been a guest conductor with the Beaverton Symphony and the Sunnyside Symphony, and in 2021 was named a Faber Conducting Fellow with the American Austrian Foundation. In 2022 he was named the conductor of the “Young Artists Debut!” concerto competition. He has performed as a violinist with many local orchestras, including the Portland Columbia Symphony, the Newport Symphony, and the Eugene Symphony.

  • We champion great music of the past and present, and proudly promote the work of other orchestras and musical organizations in our community.

  • We introduce audiences of all ages to some of the greatest music ever written, new music from local composers inspiring new lovers of classical music and encouraging more young people to pick up an instrument.

At Portland Festival Symphony, our mission is to bring people together through music—

building community, nurturing talent, and keeping symphonic music vibrant and alive for future generations.
